Hayward Dollar Tree Now Open
The new Dollar Tree store located in the Slumberland building on Hwy 63 in Hayward opened this morning, Jan. 25, with a ribbon cutting by Mayor Charlie Munich and a welcoming from the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Hayward store is 9,000 square feet, and, according to Kayleigh Painter, Dollar Tree Media Relations, a Dollar Tree store of this size typically employs 12 to 20 persons.
District Manager Dorothy Porter-Pants talks with Mayor Munich about how all items in a Dollar Tree store are priced at $1 or below. She gave him a tour of the store showing all the different types of items at the discounted price, including household and hygiene products and a freezer section with many various frozen food items.

The moment the ribbon was cut announcing the new store was open for business at 15734 W US Hwy 63, Suite 3, Hayward.
