Holiday Break Brings Back-to-Back Days of XC-Ski Racing to Wisconsin’s North Woods
Spooner Holiday Dash & Double Pole Derby Call Skiers North!
Hayward, WI (December 21, 2017) — With trails expertly groomed and more snow on the way, middle school, high school, and citizen adult cross-country skiers have opportunities to race in the north woods on natural snow. The Spooner Holiday Dash and the Double Pole Derby will provide skiers with early season racing using both classic and skate/freestyle techniques. Held on back-to-back days, both events are a great way for skiers, coaches, teams, friends, and families to have some winter fun and prepare for upcoming races. Both events are fundraisers for local high school Nordic ski teams.
