Winter Student of the Month for January, 2018
Winter High School is proud to honor our first 2018 student of the month, Mr. Jordan Pasanen! Jordan, son of Scott and Jennie Pasanen, has been described as a conscientious student and someone who is always kind and respectful. He is a Sophomore at Winter High School and has been serious about his studies throughout his time at WHS. After high school, Jordan hopes to attend college and then someday take over the family farm.
Most often, Jordan’s teachers describe him as a hard worker. His work ethic is beyond comparison. Jordan is someone who simply does what is asked of him. Teachers also mention how he is extremely helpful to others around him, no matter the situation. Jordan is the type of kid who is takes his coursework seriously; he requests homework when he is going to be absent and always completes what is necessary!
During high school, Jordan has been involved in sports such as basketball and baseball. He works well on a team. Also, it is quite possible that Jordan has the best vertical in all of our high school! His teachers and coaches explain it best, though, when they say that Jordan is a team player in all that he does, on and off the court. Currently, the majority of his time is spent on the basketball court, but Jordan has also been involved with National Honors Society (NHS). In NHS, he participates in community service among other activities. He is a quiet leader who always takes his classmates and teammates into consideration.
In his free time, Jordan likes to be outside – no matter the weather or season. You can often find him on the four-wheeler or snowmobile. He also likes to hunt and fish. Jordan is quite the outdoorsman!
Jordan truly shows the Warrior Way in his actions each day. He is a “stand-up” kind of guy. He is honest, helpful, and has a strong moral compass. We are proud of our Winter Warrior, Jordan Pasanen!
