Dorothy Aguilar, age 48, of Tainter Hill, WI died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

Dorothy Helen Tainer was born May 8, 1969 in Red Lake, MN the daughter of Kenneth Sr. and Rose (Greenleaf) Tainter. Dorothy grew up in Minneapolis, MN. She later attended and graduated from Minneapolis Community College. At the age of 17 Dorothy met her husband Raul Aguilar Sr. They married just before her 18th birthday on May 3rd, 1988. They had three boys, Raul Jr., Liopoldo and Romulo. A loving mother and wife, Dorothy, did everything she could to be there for them every day. Later in life Dorothy moved with her family to Hayward, WI. where she became a grandma 8 times. Her boys, her husband, and all her grandbabies were her world! Dorothy enjoyed visiting with her family, cooking delicious meals, and watching her favorite sport, football. Of course, her game days that consist of Yahtzee, card and board games. Oh, and let’s not forget her favorite snacks and music, honkytonk! She enjoyed it all!

She is survived by her husband Raul; sons Raul (Steven) Aguilar Jr., Liopoldo (Jenni) Aguilar, and Romulo (Bethany) Aguilar; eight grandchildren; sister Laurie Tainter; half-brothers Alan (Twig) Tainter, Dean (Linda) Tainter, Darwin Tainter, and Andrew Tainter; half-sisters Kim Pearson, and Robin (Ron) Crabtree.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Rose Tainter; brother Arthur Tainter; and half-brothers Michael Greenleaf, and Kenneth Tainter Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 1, 2018 at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in New Post Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31st at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.

Honorary casket bearers will be Antonio Aguilar, Armando Aguilar Sr., Oscar Aguilar, Roman Aguilar, Alan Tainter and Dean Tainter.

Casket bearers will be Juan Aguilar, Armando Becerra, Rafael Cruz, Miguel Machuca Jr., Jerry Mike and Frank Tainter.
